Grading, Packing and Washing
We have two main grading lines for potatoes and onions, both of which have been designed with damage-free handling and high output in mind. Each of the lines has an option of producing five sizes at any one time with a vast choice of different screens available to meet the needs of all customers. The onion line can re-load to bulk, net off and box fill simultaneously and we can discharge from and load to bulk, bins or jumbo bags.

Onion grader:

• Feed via speed control bulkers

• Overhead bulk loading
• Netting line fed from main grader or used independently

Potato grader:

• Feed via jumbo bag dischargers, box tipper or speed controlled bulkers

• Pre-inspection belt

• Final inspection belts
• Twin box fillers fitted with weigh cells
• Big bag fillers, boxes or re-loading back to bulk

Both lines have six foot grading modules with individual agitation. The waste is separated on both lines to keep this cost to a minimum. Dust extraction is fitted to the onion line in key areas for a cleaner working environment.

Potato washer:

• Post washing inspection belt
• Sponge Drier
